What is Overlanding?
Per Wiki: "Overlanding is self-reliant overland travel to remote destinations where the journey is the principal goal. Typically, but not exclusively, it is accomplished with mechanized off-road capable transport (from bicycles to trucks) where the principal form of lodging is camping, often lasting for extended lengths of time (months to years) and spanning international boundaries."
While that does sum it up quite nicely, to us, overlanding also means reconnecting with the outdoors and reconnecting with travel mates, loved ones, and yourself - using your vehicle to help do so, of course!
Don't be intimidated by the extreme rigs you see on IG, FB, or YouTube. Overlanding can be done on any budget and with almost any vehicle. The best thing you need is a sense of adventure!
