Shipping Questions

Make sure to inspect freight for any damage, indicate superficial damage to carton on delivery receipt and/or refuse shipment altogether if damage to product is visible. Once you have accepted the shipment, you have accepted the order as-is.

Before the delivery driver leaves, document the damage with pictures and note (the best to your ability) what is damaged and reach out to us. 512-351-9849.

We will review the concern and let you know the next steps.

You'll want to keep an eye out for scrapes, punctures, and divots on the shipping box. Make a note of any on the BOL (Bill of landing), take pictures, and inspect further. The shipping container is designed to handle a beating, but a small something could be damage, so make sure to take a look behind the cardboard for a closer inspection.

A freight shipment, or LTL, is delivery of a large and/or heavy item by box truck or larger semi-truck. Usually arrives on a pallet. This means special access to your delivery address and/or assistance unloading may be required.

DECKED: Ohio

ROAM Adventure Co.: Arizona

Gobi Rack: Colorado

Freight orders will typically ship out in 1-2 business days.

Gobi Racks will typically start to ship 24-28 weeks from the time of ordering. Yeah, you read that correctly. A minimum of 24-28 weeks before it ships.

Once an order has shipped, you can expect delivery in about 5-7 business days. This can vary depending on multiple factors (e.g. where it is shipping from/shipping to, the shipping location (some freight carriers delivery to certain areas on scheduled routes), how long it takes to schedule your delivery (answer that unknown number!), etc.)

Please provide us with your best contact phone number and email when placing your order. Once an order has shipped, you will receive a phone call from the freight company

to schedule your delivery date.

You must do everything you can to be available to inspect and accept the delivery. Additional charges for rescheduling or storage incurred are the responsibility of the customer. Please remember that inspection is very important. If you see damage, the order must be refused. See Question 1 above ^

Totally. However, you are giving this friend or family member the authority to inspect and receive this shipment on your behalf. Make sure they are aware of the damage inspection process/requirement. Once the order is accepted, it is accepted as-is.

Delivery is curbside only. Make sure you have a friend or two to help with receiving your tent. A dolly sure helps! Additional expenses incurred are not covered and the responsibility of the customer.

Once an order has been placed, we will contact you to verify the product and order. Once this process has been completed, edits or cancelation to the order is not possible. Please make sure to ask any question you have prior to this point!
