Kuat Piston ION E-Bike Hitch Rack
The Kuat Piston ION is a premium bike rack engineered specifically for modern electric bikes. Built to handle the heaviest rides while delivering the innovative design Kuat is known for, the Piston ION combines rugged performance with premium materials for dependable bike transport.
Constructed primarily from aluminum, the Piston ION carries two bikes up to 100 lbs each with a zero frame contact design that protects even the most delicate frames. The included aluminum loading ramp makes it easy to load heavy e-bikes, while the FastFit™ tool-free wheel chock system quickly adjusts to fit a wide range of wheel sizes.
The ION is built for adventure beyond the pavement. It is RV approved and off-road rated, making it ideal for hauling e-mountain bikes to remote trailheads or gravel destinations. When mounted to an RV, each tray supports up to 80 lbs per bike, and for off-road use the rack supports 50 lbs per bike.
Premium details set the Piston ION apart from standard racks, including the PedalPivot™ folding system, integrated tire stabilizers, semi-integrated cable lock, and stainless steel hitch lock. Optional accessories such as the ION Light Kit and License Plate Mount add visibility and safety for road travel.
