Wraparound Coverage Extends around the side and rear of the vehicle to provide a broad, connected sheltered area.
More Usable Camp Space Creates room for cooking, seating, gear organization, and shelter near the rear of your vehicle.
Vehicle-Mounted Convenience Travels on a compatible rack or platform and deploys when you reach camp or your destination.

What to Check Before Ordering

Left or Right Orientation Many 270° awnings are side-specific. Confirm which side of the vehicle the awning must mount to and the direction it should open.
Rack & Mounting Support Verify rack compatibility, bracket requirements, mounting-point spacing, and the applicable load limits.
Vehicle Clearance Check rear hatch, tailgate, doors, antennas, and other accessories throughout the awning’s deployment path.
Awning safety: Follow the manufacturer’s setup and weather instructions. Use support legs, guy ropes, and stakes whenever required, and retract the awning during strong winds or severe weather. Never leave a deployed awning unattended.
Need help choosing a 270° awning? Tell us what you drive and which rack system you have. Contact The Rack Shop or call 512-351-9849 for help checking orientation, vehicle clearance, and mounting compatibility.
