Product Note:
Noise Issues - Some customers report noise issues with Edge systems. It isn't often, but enough for us to make a note of it. Noise varies from car to car, rack placement, accessories, and personal sensitivity, so we can't say for sure if a system will have excessive noise.
If noise is a concern, Thule offers a front wind fairing, the AirScreen XT - sold separately, to help with noise. This isn't a guaranteed fix, but it seems to do the trick.
The noise concern is also not limited to this brand. We've had similar feedback from other brand's flush ended style bars.
The Rack Shop recommends the standard Wingbar system for best aero performance, so make sure you read the return policy if you think you might be sensitive to noise concerns before you purchase.
